ILLUSTRATED MAPS: TOKYO
This project is centred around "Illustrated Maps." I was required to create a feeling-based map. I chose to depict my experience in Tokyo, Japan, where I spent two weeks immersed in the captivating culture and encountered various aspects that left a lasting impression.
My intention was to infuse humour and a sense of lightheartedness into the illustration, reflecting the happiness I experienced during my time in Tokyo. From comical scenarios like pigs fighting for my attention at the Mipig cafe to navigating the perplexing train systems, I aimed to capture as many memorable moments, as well as aspects unique to me! However, there are plenty of unmentioned experiences, hinting at the potential need for a part two!
